We presume that ABC still has the Big 12 pick-up option on the OU-OSU game on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so the time may move. If not, though, we know it will be televised on the regional Fox Sports Network. We also know that the home opener on Labor Day weekend is a night game, and will be nationally televised on TBS, a basic cable staple.
No word yet on Homecoming kick-off time. Given how TV normally works in the Big XII, we won't know for sure about the October 21 kick-off time until October 9, the Monday after the OU-Texas game. We currently expect kick-off to be absolutely no earlier than noon, as the OU Athletic Department has been asked by TV to move homecoming kick-off before noon and refused.
It's worth noting that ABC's Saturday Night College Football does not air on October 21, so there's no chance ABC will pick up homecoming for national primetime broadcast. That doesn't mean TBS or FSN can't make it a night game, but if ABC (who has the first option) picks up the game, it's all but sure to kick-off at 2:30 PM.

| For those people who keep landing here searching for information about the first home game (OU vs. UAB) in high-definition:
Sorry, but no. Although TBS broadcasts locally in HD (over the air, that is, in Atlanta), the station has no national HD feed.
They provide the Atlanta Braves games in HD to cable and satellite companies through the Turner South facilities, but there are still too few HDTV remote TV broadcast trucks in the country for Turner to lease one for a college football game that it's not broadcasting nationally in HDTV. It wouldn't be worth the investment.
As of this writing, ABC has not publicly committed to airing any of its first few games in HD, either (not even Ohio State v. Texas on September 9), so I'd be very skeptical that either of the Sept. 9 or 16 games (Washington @Norman, @Oregon) will be in HD either. Sorry.

| On the other hand, according to this page, Fox Sports Network does plan to broadcast the Bedlam game in HDTV on November 25!
